Cavender Drywall is a trade name of Ben Handyman LLC. On this page, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Ben Handyman LLC, doing business as Cavender Drywall.

1. What we collect

• What you give us: your name, phone number, email, the address of the job, descriptions of the work, and photos or videos you send us.
• Messages and calls: the text messages you exchange with us and, when you call, a recording and transcript of the call. Calls may be answered by an automated assistant. We tell you at the start of a call if it is being recorded.
• Job records: quotes, invoices, payment status, scheduling details, before-and-after photos of the work, and any warranty requests.
• Website visits: this website has no sign-in, no forms and no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider and the font service we use receive standard technical data when a page loads, such as your IP address and browser type.

2. How we use it

We use your information to answer your request, give you a quote, schedule and carry out the job, send you updates, invoice you, handle warranty requests, ask how we did, keep the records the law and our accounting require, and protect against fraud and abuse. We do not use it for anything else.

3. Who sees it

• Team members doing your job get what they need to do it: your name, the address, the scope and your photos. They are not allowed to use it for anything else.
• Service providers who help us run the business, such as our phone and text-messaging provider, call-answering and scheduling tools, invoicing and payment processing, website hosting, and email. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• The law: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect people or property.
• If the business changes hands, records may transfer to the new owner, who must follow this policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number, or your text-message consent, with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Text messages

Texting is how most of our customers prefer to work with us. Details on what we send, how often, and how to stop are on our SMS Terms page. Information you give us for text messaging is used only for your job and is never shared for marketing.

5. How long we keep it

We keep job records for as long as needed to service the job and the guarantee, and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Call recordings and photos are kept for as long as they are useful for those same purposes.

6. Security

We limit access to your information to the people and tools that need it, and we use reputable providers who protect it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything sensitive, such as full card numbers or Social Security numbers, by text or email. Payments go through the invoice or payment link we send you.

7. Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling, texting or emailing the contact details below. We may need to keep some records, for example invoices, for legal reasons, and we will tell you if so.
• You can ask that we not use photos of your home in our marketing at any time.

8. Children

Our services are for property owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date. We will not use information we already hold in a materially different way without asking you first.
