Cavender Drywall is a trade name of Ben Handyman LLC. On this page, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Ben Handyman LLC, doing business as Cavender Drywall.

How you opt in

By texting us or giving us your mobile number, you consent to receive the text messages described on this page. You agree to receive them when you do any of these:

text us first, for example to send a photo and ask for a quote;
give us your mobile number on a call or in a message and tell us it is fine to text you about your request; or
text START to (352) 561-3616 after having opted out.

We keep a record of how and when you opted in. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. If you would rather not text, call us instead at (352) 561-3616, though we are often on a job, so texting is the fastest way to reach us.

What we send

Messages about your request and your job only:

replies to your questions and requests for quotes, and quotes themselves;
scheduling and appointment confirmations, arrival windows and arrival updates;
questions we need answered to do the job, and photo exchanges;
invoices, payment links and receipts;
follow-up after a job: a request for feedback with up to two reminders, and a check-in after about 30 days.

We do not send promotional or marketing texts. If that ever changes, we will ask for your separate permission first.

How often

Message frequency varies with your request and your job. Most messages are replies to something you sent or updates on a job you booked, so a typical job involves a handful of messages from quote to follow-up.

Cost

Msg & data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier and your plan. We do not charge for texting.

Stop and help

Reply STOP to (352) 561-3616 at any time to opt out. We send one message confirming you are opted out, and then no more texts. STOP also works with the words CANCEL, END, QUIT and UNSUBSCRIBE.

If you opt out while a job is scheduled, we may have no easy way to send you arrival updates. Call us if you need to reach us.

Your information

We do not sell or share your mobile number, or the consent you gave us, with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the providers who deliver our messages and help run the business, and only to provide their service to us. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Carriers

Wireless carriers and the companies that deliver messages are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.
